The BMN is the UU Faculty of Science's biggest yearly music spectacle at De Helling. Talented musicians from A-Eskwadraat and Sticky will ensure you have an unforgettable night filled with the most awesome musical performances. The BMN isn't only a fun show to attend, but also an awesome community to join as a Musician! Throughout a large part of the year, we organize weekly rehearsals and other fun events. Here, you get to know fellow musicians, improve your musical skills as a member of multiple bands, and together with your bandmates, you work towards a professional show at De Helling. In more detail, an edition consists of multiple phases. During the Auditions phase, a selection of ~30 musicians is made to join the next phase. During the Rehearsal phase, the songs on the Set list are rehearsed, Bonding activities are organized, and preparations are made for The show (the BMN). This also includes the Rehearsal weekend and the special rehearsals. The edition is closed off with The show (the BMN) and a Watch party.
