It is important that, when someone needs to be confronted with less fun things/consequences, this is not done by the confidant. Doing this as a confidant may impair your credibility and accessibility. Instead, this can be done by someone like the Secretary.
If necessary, possible issues a musician runs into can immediately be taken into account when creating schedules, without the information having to unnecessarily pass hands.
