The chairperson leads the Committee and is responsible for making sure its objectives are carried out. This means they have the following responsibilities:
- The chairperson is ultimately responsible for The BMN (the concept).
- Keeping track of the status of tasks, projects, and processes.
- Managing the work of the committee.
- Keeping track of work that is done and needs to be done.
- Delegating work to committee members and others.
- Monitoring committee member capacity and well-being.
- Keeping the committee up to date of what’s happening within the committee and the BMN. This both includes things like informing them of meetings and other important events, and keeping them up to date about progress in certain projects.
- Preparing and chairing ‣, including planning them, preparing agendas, and organizing emerging action points. This excludes Setlist meetings, since they are led by the Setlist manager .
- Communication with A-eskwadraat and Sticky. This does not include communication about things within the domain of other committee members (think budget, PR permission, etc.), since that is handled by that committee member themselves.
